The Chemical Brothers are Tom Rowlands & Ed Simons - an English electronic music duo formed in Manchester in 1989. The Chemical Brothers along with The Prodigy, Fatboy Slim, The Crystal Method, and others, were pioneers in bringing the big beat genre to the forefront of pop culture.
Rowlands & Simons released their first album - Exit Planet Dust in 1995. The debut album sold over a million copies worldwide.
After attracting Virgin Records, The Chemical Brothers achieved more success with their second album Dig Your Own Hole, released in 1997. Dig Your Own Hole topped the UK charts.
During their musical career in the UK, the duo have had six No. 1 albums and 13 Top 20 singles, including two No. 1 hits.
In the United States, The Chemical Brothers have won 6 Grammy Awards including Best Rock Instrumental Performance, Best Dance Recording & Best Dance/Electronic Album of the year in 2020.
